Jenni Cook has dreamed of writing a book since she asked Santa for a typewriter at the age of seven. The daughter of voracious readers, she comes by her love of all things literary honestly, and never leaves home without a book (or sometimes two). She is the author of short stories, including “Waiting Room,” which was a Finalist in the Fiction War Fall 2016 Competition, and is currently working on her first novel, a slightly snarky whodunit, tentatively titled “The Disposal.”

An attorney by day, she loves all things Southern, enjoys fashion modeling, and was the Woman of Spring 2010 for Eccoci Stores and Limited Editions for Her, and the 2015 Face of Eccoci for Limited Editions for Her in Branson, MO. When she’s not writing, in the courtroom, or on the runway, she can be found enjoying her nephew’s baseball games, painting upholstered furniture, knitting, and hanging out with her Australian Shepherd puppy.
